I've run Amoco 93 since new and the bike runs like a champ. According to a mechanic buddy (Master's license) the higher the octane, the cleaner the burn, and also the most efficient due to "quicker" burning. Makes sense, and it's the same thing a Toyota rep told me a while back when I asked about octane recommendations for my pickup.
I wonder if high-humidity or high-altitude riding conditions have any effect ??
